Well G’s, we made it. KKBB once again traversed 30,000 miles on the Vans Warped Tour and have returned home victorious. The road remained epic and we had an amazing time. We wanted to take a couple minutes and thank everyone who came by the tent this year and grabbed some gear or just swung in to say what’s up. You guys are the whole reason we go out on the road and you really came through this year. Big effing ups! Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and we hope you hold it down in the name of KKBB. You earned it.

Highlights you say? Too many to recap. The road was rife with hilarity and immense beauty. One thing we absolutely must share with you guys is our trip to Zion National Park in Utah. We opted to skip the Edmonton date this year in favor of chilling for a few days in the most beautiful park I have ever been to. If you’re ever in that neck of the woods you must make it a priority to go there. It. Was. Amazing. We hiked the Narrows, chilled hard by the campfire at night and slept like drunken infants under the stars. I’m going to throw some pictures up for you guys below. This is a section of the Narrows…

We ended our trip like we did last year by attending the Pool Trade Show in Las Vegas. After an 1,100 mile drive from Portland we posted up in a dive Motel 8 where I’m pretty sure everyone has been murdered. It proved to be too scary for us to handle and we soon relocated. But I digress. Pool went swimmingly. We hooked up with a ton of awesome boutiques and other assorted retailers, spreading our zombie survival gear across the globe. Pool lasted for 3 days and on the last night we hit Vegas hard. We totally earned it. Then it was time to make the perilous final journey back home and into the loving arms of our beds. That has been where I’ve stayed since getting back. Sweet isn’t the word…

This post in no way summates the epicness that was our summer. But f*ck it, I’m still recovering. Thanks again to everyone who came out and our Warped Tour compatriots who toiled endlessly in the Sun with us. We have survived another year…

Yup… that sh*t JUST HAPPENED!

We’ve been getting quite a few emails recently querying as to just what the hell is going on with our new sunglasses. These are fair questions, sirs and madams. Allow me to try and address this unfortunate business. When our shipment of glasses arrived it came minus one crucial piece of paper work; the paperwork that promises our glasses are not in fact made from reconstituted dragon scales and that we just say that to be funny. Or do we? Regardless, the powers who would keep anything made from any part of a dragon (or mermaid… or really anything that “isn’t real”) away from you decided to put a hold on us distributing our sick new glasses. We swore up and down that we were just joshing about the glasses containing “60% magic, 35% dragon face, and 17% mantis-dance” but we were met with cruel scowls…

With that being said, an enormous amount of our sunglasses are being held prisoner and there’s no way for us to get to them right now. As far as we know they’re being tested over and over again to make sure they do not contain any of the “Smurfs’ Dark Magiks”. I don’t even know what that means but that’s what the cute-sounding girl on the phone told me when I called to see what the score was (thanks for standing me up at Chuck E. Cheese by the way. WTF?!). So that’s where we stand with the glasses kids. They’re currently in limbo. For those of you who’ve all ready placed orders and are waiting on your glasses we apologize profusely. As soon as the glasses get released from the dungeons they’ll be on the way to your doorstep. As for those of you who are chomping at the bit to order a pair, they’ll be available about 39 seconds after they come through our office doors. Until then just try and avoid getting any Sun in your eyes. Maybe paint over them? I don’t know, I’m not a doctor.

Magooooooo! What up fools? Just checking in from the road. The KKBB crew is currently posted up in a hotel just outside of Boston, eagerly awaiting the date in Mansfield, MA tomorrow. So far tour this year has been most excellent. We managed to survive the heat of the southwest, the damnable hurricane in Texas, and a McDonald’s in Indiana. The latter by the skin of our somehow-sunburned teeth. We totes aren’t loving it.

Anywho, all the kiddies that are hitting up our tent this year seem to be pretty into our zombie survival gear. We’ve met a ton of cool cats so far and we’re steadily growing our legion of Facebook homies. We also started running our “Queen of the Sextropolis” raffle. Once again, like last year, we got a late start on the raffle-runnings but that ish is up and running now. Sorry the first few dates, we suck at buying raffle tickets in a timely fashion. Your hair looks nice today though. Keep it up…

The first day we ran the raffle was in St. Louis and we laid the crown upon the brow of Sara Bormann. Sara is a Virgo and her color of choice is pink. A gnarly little tidbit you ask? Well, apparently one time she got wasted and made sexes with a dude with one leg. You truly are an American Hero Sara.

Sara. She’s a giver. We applaud you.

Next up on the Sextropolis train is Kira Reed from Indianapolis. Kira too is a Virgo but unlike Sara favors the color yellow over pink. I’m with you Kira. What excellence had she been up to previous to her Warped outing? She dumped a bucket of cold water on one of her friends whilst said friend was showering. A merry prankster this Kira be. Merry indeed…

We ventured to Burgettstown, PA just outside of Pittsburgh. We ran a raffle and, you know, I feel like someone won but due to some technical difficulties on our side (we lost a ton of data, boo) I don’t know who it was. We’ve got a video coming soon of the winner adamantly screaming “Woooo!” and some other peoples clapping. So, you know, we’ll put that up soon and there will be at least some success…

Cleveland came next. Hanna Castle of Bucyrus took home the cheese that day. Hanna is a Leo and digs on the color purple. You and Prince, Hanna. You and Prince. Hanna likes to get a little tipsy and log onto Chatroulette. What does she do there? She makes faces. At dudes who show her their peeps. We’re all in debt to you Hanna. And dudes, stop showing your dicks on Chatroulette. We’re lacking a picture of Hanna (see above) but we love her all the same.

The last date we have to speak of is Hartford, CT. Kathy Bartholomew’s ticket got pulled that day and therefore won all the success we had to offer. Kathy is a Taurus and is into lime green. I like the specificity of that. Kathy once had sex with her best friend for some weed and never actually got the weed. Boned. You see what I did there?! Again, no pic. Sorry lady. We technology fail.

Last but not least we want to mention a little something extra we’re going to be doing on the road this year. Starting July 15th in Scranton, PA KKBB will be introducing the Foxden! The Foxden is a traveling boutique featuring Obey, American Apparel, Ambiguous, Heavy Rotation, Gentle Fawn, and friggin’ KKBB of course! We’re going to have a bunch of other accessories and assorted sweetness available. You can even cop yourself a fox tail! Make sure to come through and check it out! That’s all for now n00bs. Blaow! It’s my favorite time of year! Or, is it my least favorite? I DON’T KNOW! I’M SO EFFING DIRTY! That’s right, KKBB hath hit the road again on the Van’s Warped Tour. I’m writing this post from the 2nd bench of the KKBBmobile (a.k.a. my bed) in Mountain View, CA. Today is day 2 of the tour and so far we’re having a blast. We made it across the country with minimal hiccups and hit the ground running yesterday in Carson, CA. LET’S EFFING DO THIS AMERICA!

Since we’re so pumped to be back out on the road we thought we’d do something sweet for you guys. We decided that at the end of Warped Tour this year we’re going to randomly select 10 people from our Facebook fans to give a free shirt to! I know right?! It’s friggin’ AWESOME! So if for some ridiculous reason you haven’t all ready liked us on Facebook get your ass over there and do it! Unless you don’t like free sh*t then never-the-hell-mind…

As most of you probably know, the KKBB crew is about to hit the road again on the Vans Warped Tour. Another stellar year of living in a van, occasionally showering and almost always smelling like straight up feet. We totes live the dream. What you may not know is that we are throwing a HUGE party this Sunday to see us off! It promises to be quite the blow out.

DJ Ease and DJ Annalyze are going to come through and spin tracks while everyone gets their drink on! Ladies drink for free and it’s only $5 a cup if you come with a penis. Oh yea, our homeboy Mikey Jones is going to be there giving out $40 Howlin’ Wolf tattoos. Mikey’s got mad skills and you’d be a fool not to have a gnarly wolf on your person somewhere.

Where is this bonanza going down? I CAN’T F*CKIN’ TELL YOU! Not yet anyway. You’re going to have to check back here on Sunday. Hit up the Facebook event page and attend that ish. We’re going to post a phone number you can call and get directions. Then, the shenanigans will begin. Oh yes, there will be shenanigans…

But like all good things, DJ Roulette has come to an end. KKBB will be hitting the road in just over a week to once again traverse our great nation on the Vans Warped Tour and we’re going to be busy as eff between now and then. Plus, my PKE Meter was spiking something fierce at the last DJ Roulette and frankly ectoplasm is way gross. It looks awesome but you shouldn’t touch it (trust me). Dragonfly will still be the best place to spend your Sunday nights, with or without rampant ghosts, so make sure to get your ass back there!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped put it together and everyone who came out to shake what His Noodley Master gave ‘em. DJ Annalyze and DJ Ease saw us off with a dope set Sunday and it couldn’t have ended any better. Big ups everybody and good luck to the Roc City Skate crew!

Yoooooo! KKBB is celebrating the release of our fly new gear with an epic shindig at Thread! This Saturday June 5th, get your sexy self down to 654 South Ave any time between 6-9pm to enjoy the festivities. The KKBB crew will be there representing the best we can and doling out high fives in an extremely willy-nilly fashion! If I have anything to do with it it’s going to rule something fierce! We’re happy to inform you that this gnarly tour also features yet another band from our sexy comp, City Lights! Make sure to get your ass out to see these guys because it’s surely going to rule all. Well kids, you’ve been waiting patiently for the new gear to arrive and I’m happy to report that it’s GOING DOWN TONIGHT! At midnight tonight new booty shorts and hoodies will be up in the online store and totally available for your purchasing thereof. So, you know, friggin’ do that! We were going to release the new sunglasses tonight as well but when we got together to do the photo shoot for the glasses we just ended up drinking Absinthe and drawing pictures of raptors riding tricycles.
